Agency Discussion on Payment Integrity
April 10-11, 2019

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Payment Management is hosting an Agency Discussion on Payment Integrity on April 10-11, 2019 onsite at the Philadelphia Financial Center.

This discussion will provide an opportunity to become more acquainted with Fiscal Service’s Payment Integrity Center of Excellence initiative and provide an intimate setting to discuss agency challenges in combatting fraud, waste, abuse and improper payments.

Breakout sessions will include working-level discussions on current Fiscal Service capabilities, root cause analysis, and best practices to aid in the prevention, recovery and reduction of improper payments.

2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program Conference

Join us for the 2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) conference, to be held May 20, 2019 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

This one-day training event, a cooperative undertaking of the Treasury, GAO, OMB and OPM, will allow you to earn up to 8 continuing professional education (CPE) credits. From a selection of up to 16 educational sessions you’ll learn about the latest developments and improvements in federal financial management practices, systems, and operations.

The conference is open to federal employees and contractors. The enrollment fee is $100.

Register by May 10, 2019 to reserve your space at the conference. Registration may close sooner if conference capacity is reached.

Registration process for federal agencies

  • Federal employees attending the JFMIP are required to complete the 2019 JFMIP Government Employee Registration Form
  • E-mail the completed form to JFMIP@fiscal.treasury.gov. Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service will use your registration form as proof your agency has approved your attendance, and use the Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection system to transfer your $100 payment from your agency.
  • The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is no longer authorized to accept government credit cards to pay for this conference. All Federal payments must be sent via IPAC.

Registration process for federal contractors and others using their personal credit cards

  • Payments using personal credit cards may be done at Pay.gov; contact JFMIP@fiscal.treasury.gov to request a link to the site.
  • This site will not be publicly searchable. Federal personnel who wish to use a personal credit card are authorized to use Pay.gov.

Fiscal Service Advisory Council Payments Forum 2019

Date: June 4-5, 2019 | Location: Social Security Administration, Woodlawn, MD

This forum provides a unique opportunity for agencies to hear first-hand updates about federal government payment products, services, and initiatives. Please take this opportunity to join us and stay informed about the future direction of payments.

Participation is open to all federal agencies. Multiple representatives from each federal program agency are welcome to attend. However, voting on Council initiatives will be limited to one vote for each agency processing site responsible for submitting payments to the Fiscal Service.

28th Annual Government Financial Management Conference
August 13-15, 2018 | 8am to 4pm

This annual training event covered the latest developments in federal financial management practices, systems and operations.

All educational training sessions were led by federal financial management experts from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Management and Budget, Federal Reserve Bank, and selected partners and agents.

The conference was held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Attendees earned up to 21 continuing professional education (CPE) credits.

This forum gave attendees the opportunity to learn how the Fiscal Service can help identify, prevent, collect and resolve agency receivables.

The Symposium was scheduled for May 23 and 24, 2018, at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Conference Center in Washington DC and provided federal program agencies the opportunity to create and strengthen connections with other federal agencies and Treasury as we work together to identify and prevent improper payments, improve receivables management, and increase debt collections.
