New Look for the Monthly Treasury Statement
With the release of the October 2018 Monthly Treasury Statement, we're excited to announce some changes to the publication.
You will notice a new cover page design as well as modern, updated charts and graphs. The charts and graphs provide better visuals and improved transparency for the data included in the MTS.
We hope that these updates add value to this publication.
The MTS presents a summary of:
- Receipts and outlays
- Surplus or deficit
- Means of financing on a modified cash basis
The data in the MTS is provided by federal entities, disbursing officers, and Federal Reserve Banks.
